It's going to be a creative year!
Judging from our first project, I have a lot of very creative thinking students this year. I'm really excited to see how they interpret each assignment. It should be very fun seeing them finish ideas this year. More examples of this are in the 8th grade section.

New stuff for Spring!!
Our latest projects from spring have been very interesting so far. My 7th grade finished some amazing hand drawings while my 8th graders learned how to sew while doing surgery on stuffed animals. Then we completed live face traces with mirrors. Pretty crazy stuff! See each grade levels' section for more.!! And we had tie dye friday as usual for each trimester!!

Winter stuff
Well we've been pretty busy recently. My 6th graders just finished up their clay sandwiches, 7th graders made robots from old computer parts, and 8th grade finished clay mugs and tape-casting. Please check out each grade levels' tab for more pics. Thanks. Also, Elvis was seen trying to appear on one of our rolling pins!! Next up are stop animation and ugly dolls.

Giacometti Duct tape style
Here are some examples of our recent project where we studied Alberto Giacometti. We decided to do the opposite with our figures and go for correct proportion with action poses. Here are my two favorite. Check out the 8th grade tab for more.
